I am unsure how to tell if nuts are not fresh, or even if they are what people call 'rancid'. Is there a difference in color? taste? smell? Could someone please explain this to me? I also would like to know the best way to store nuts and how long do they last? Thanks!

Does anyone out there know this receipe? My boyfriend had it about 23 years ago. Yes, I know that's a long time but he had it once and it's still stuck in his brain as of this day. I'd like to surprise him and fix it. He said he had this dish at Disneyworld in a place called "The castle." I've never been there, so I'm not sure where that's at. Any ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much and take care.

How can I make a simple burgundy steak in a skillet or oven(I Don't have a grill) with these ingredients:

-Shallots
-Garlic
-Flour
-Burgundy Wine
-Sirloin Steak
-Butter

I don't want to cube it, as most recipes for burgundy steak call for. Should I sear it in the skillet first and then bake it, or broil it?

A Korean Raddish. It's about 6 inches long and very thick. How do I cook it? Is there a special receipe for it? Do I cook it with something else?

It is a pastel green around the top and almost ivory on the bottom...

Very pretty!

How can I prepare medium rare tuna steaks at home safely? I can eat this at a restaurant, but I am nervous to do so at home. Must I buy a certain type of tuna, must I freeze it first, and how long do you sear it?
