A toaster oven takes just a little longer to cook than a regular oven. So follow the time your recipe says and add about 5 minutes per pound for the toaster oven.

A toaster oven? For ribs?!

I'd set it low, about 250ºF, and count on it taking about 6-8 hours.

Boil the ribs on top of the stove first to tenderize, about 1-2 hours. Otherwise, the ribs will be very tough and hard to chew. Cut into manageable pieces, brush in your favorite barbecue sauce and bake at 450 degrees until sauce is bubbly.

If you absolutely cannot boil the ribs first, then cook them at low temp, 300 degrees until done, about one hour per pound. Increase temperature to 400 for another hour to crisp, add sauce during the last 20 minutes of baking time.

I cook 2 full racks at a time in the oven at 250 degrees for 3 or 4 hours and them slather them up with fresh sauce and grill them at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
