Mine is Repertoire de La Cuisine by Lewis Saulnier. This is NOT a first cookbook as it has very few amounts of anything, You need to know how to cook to use it.

My family has some chicken in the freezer. The "SELL BY" date was 5 days ago. Is it to old to eat, or is it safe to eat?

Ok I have bowtie pasta and some small cooked frozen shrimp. What is something I could make, preferrably a warm dish. Ive looked up recipes sites and getting no ideas I like.

Please nothing overly Italian-ish. Maybe something with a light sauce, or olive oil and seasonings? I would serve it with garlic bread I think. Thanks for suggestions!

i bought that part of the chicken where it is the thigh and drumstick and it has the skin. i dont know how to cook it or how long to cook it for. i would like a way so the skin is crispy soo.. maybe something that starts ontop of the stove to crisp it up and then goes into the oven (in the same pan) to cook it through. i dont need a recipe just how long and how to cook it so get the results i want. and please hurry i am soo hungry and cant eat until i get an answer! thanks very much!

The description says:
Mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan cheeses top off a rich mix of penne pasta, Italian-seasoned grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, fresh basil and Alfredo sauce.

Can someone tell me how to prepare it? (ie: when and how to add the cheese, sequence of ingredients, how to cook the chicken etc)? I'm DYING to learn how to make this.....please don't give me recipes for any florentine type dishes. looking strictly for something VERY similar to this:

So, I'm making some cupcakes from a recipe that requires the use of 12 oz of cola. What does cola do to a recipe? I mean, does it make the cupcakes taste better? Fluffier? Heavier? What does it do!? :-)
