Last year I made sweet potato pie and it had large orange chunks in it. I need to know how to peel them so that it doesn't happen again.

I had a friend with an awesome muffin recipe, she said that they used a creme (sp?) cake mix as one of the ingredients but she never told me the whole recipe. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I am in search of a muffin recipe as good as a store's! :)

Certain recipies call for olive oil, which is rather expensive.ls there really all that much difference to the outcome of the dish if l use vegetable or canola oil.

I will be feeding around 8-10 people. Last time they came over i cooked the perfect winter beef stew off of the kraft website, and they were amazed, im almost tempted to cook it again since it was such a hit, but figured ill mix it up a little. I looked through a few here on the internet and figured people on here would have better ideas for me than going through all those recipes. Thank you in advance. I prefer a simple type recipe but either way is good i just want to impress them again with my cooking.

I'm a college student living off campus. Is there anything I should know or look for when shopping for these? Also, what size should I buy when I'm cooking for probably myself most of the time? Thanks
