Ok I have bowtie pasta and some small cooked frozen shrimp. What is something I could make, preferrably a warm dish. Ive looked up recipes sites and getting no ideas I like.

Please nothing overly Italian-ish. Maybe something with a light sauce, or olive oil and seasonings? I would serve it with garlic bread I think. Thanks for suggestions!

If you have microwavable pasta, make that, and then cut up some veggies and put them in a bowl covered with plastic wrap. Microwave that for a couple of minutes, until the veggies are cooked. When I was your age, I would make 'cookie dough' where I would mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter together and add chocolate chips. Do 2 1/4 cups of flour 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar and about a stick of softened butter. DO NOT eat this all at once, or too quickly or you WILL get sick! (learned that the hard way) For a drink, you could put some lemon juice and sugar into a glass of ice water to make lemonade. Good luck!

Alright, here you go, off the top of my head...

Prepare pasta in boiling water - per directions.

Thaw shrimp in iced water.
Peel (devein - optional)
Finely dice onion or shallot

In sauce pan, melt tbs butter ove medium heat
Add onion and sweat for 6-8 minutes
Add some from broccoli florets
Stir in fresh or dried parsley, salt pepper
Add shrimp
Add 1 cup white wine
Reduce - cooking 5-6 minutes
Add two pats butter
Add 1/2 cup cream
Add 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
Toss with pasta
Serve with crusty bread.

I'm surprised no one mentioned a nice Alfredo sauce - homemade, naturally - very easy to make - and your bow tie pasta and the shrimp would be perfect in it. All you need is the pasta, shrimp, cream, butter, garlic powder, some white pepper and Parmesan cheese. Simple and yet delicious! Melt your butter, add the cream and garlic powder and pepper and stir until all mixed together. Then add your barely cooked pasta and shrimp - just to heat them up - and then add the parmesan and stir together. The parmesan will thicken it and it will be good to go!

Try thinning some cream cheese with milk adding some salt, pepper and your favorite seasonings. For my tastes I'd add thyme, some frozen peas & the shrimp to the pasta just as it is finished cooking for a minute or so and a few squeezes of fresh lemon juice. Quick, easy and creamy. A dash of cayenne and/ or seafood seasoning would be nice as well as some Italian parsley or scallions.

Boil up the pasta.
defrost the shrimp.
zap some broccoli florets in the microwave.
make a light sauce with olive oil, butter, shallot or garlic, white wine, tiny pinch of hot pepper flakes, and parsley in a large pan.
Add the above 3 ingredients and toss to coat and heat through. Add a little parmesan if you like.

Boil the pasta and drain, add defrosted shrimp if they are shelled and cooked, otherwise do that as the pasta is cooking.
Stir together with some Sweet Soy Sauce or Sweet Chili Sauce.

I would just toss with olive oil, red crushed pepper, and fresh minced garlic.

Just substitute your cooked shrimp and cook only until they are heated through.
