I usually just broil or grill mine with a few herbs, but it's getting boring. Any suggestions?

Moms Accidental Teriyaki Pork Chops

This dish can be made more or less sweet according to taste. It is just as good without the mushrooms.

6 to 8 pork chops (boneless) or chicken
¼ cup butter or margarine
3 TBS olive oil
1 cup slice mushrooms (optional)
¼ cup sweet wine (White port wine is good)
½ cup Kikoman Teriyaki Marinade
¼ cup corn syrup or sugar (optional), use only if you like your teriyaki a little sweet
1 - (10 ½ oz) can white sauce or package white sauce made according to directions

In large skillet brown pork chops in 2 tablespoons melted butter and 2 ablespoons olive oil. Remove chops from pan. Add remaining butter and oil to pan drippings. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients except white sauce. And simmer for 15 minutes. Add white sauce and stir until smooth and completely blended. Place pork chops in a 3-quart casserole dish and pour sauce over it. Bake at 350F for about 1 ½ hours or until chops are tender.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Serving suggestions: Goes great with mashed potatoes (use the sauce over the potatoes), pasta, or rice.

We like to season our pork chops with something spicy (a favorite is Durn Good seasoning), then grill them. When serving, we then put a little of our favorite bbq sauce in a dish to use as a dipping sauce (like you would shrimp cocktail).

For grilling times we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Just enter the details about your grill (gas or charcoal), the pork chops (bone-in or boneless), thickness, doneness, etc. It will give you instructions for how to grill pork chops so that they come out nice and juicy.

We'll often do an extra pork chop extra spicy (grilled medium rare) so that later we can cut it into bites to add to red beans or black beans and rice, which is also excellent with the grilled pork added.

brown and toss em in a slow cooker, add 2 cans of creme of mushroom soup and let it cook till dinner. tender and tasty. You can do the same with Campbell's chicken and wild rice soup too.
I also do it but put in 2 cups of uncooked white rice first, then place the pork chops in the slow cooker, add in the soup (no water) and let it cook. All simple and tasty meals for families on the go. And, you don't have to brown em first, I just prefer it. when in a real hurry, just toss em in while they are still frozen. By the time you get home from work/school, they will be done and soo tender!!! I often add crushed black pepper etc over the top just before I put the lid on.

Smothered Pork Chops:

These pork chops are coated with bread crumbs and cooked in the slow cooker with cola, mustard, and garlic. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:

• 5 tablespoons olive oil
• 6 center-cut pork chops
• 1/4 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
• 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 (12 ounces) can cola
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon cranberry honey mustard
• 3/4 teaspoon black and red pepper blend
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1-1/2 cups water
Method:
In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Moisten pork chops with water. Combine Parmesan cheese and Italian bread crumbs. Dip wet pork chops in mixture and place in hot skillet. Lightly brown pork chops on both sides. Pork chops will probably need to be cooked in two batches. Set pork chops aside. In a slow cooker set on High, place Worcestershire sauce, cola, garlic, cranberry honey mustard. Add pork chops. In same skillet used to cook pork chops, scrape drippings. In small bowl, combine cornstarch, water, and pepper blend. Mix well and add to skillet. Cook and stir for about 2 minutes.

Fry them in a skillet and then take them out. Fry some onion in the drippings. Add cream of mushroom soup, no water or milk, and stir. Add back in the chops and let simmer on low for at least 20 minutes. YUMMY! Serve with your favorite veggie and mashed taters, baked taters, cooked pasta or rice. (And yes, Applesauce on the side tastes good! The sweetness of the applesauce compliments the chops!)

I like to smother mine with a mushroom brown gravy sauce over a bed of rice. First I fry them, then dry grease, add rice and water and a can of condensed mushroom soup, or brown gravy, cover until boiling, then turn down heat, adjust lid and cook until rice is ready.
