If you're putting it on top of the pasta, yes. Or, you can drain the pasta, add some sauce to the pasta in the pan, and slightly warm it while stirring together.

RE:
Cooking pasta with Prego sauce?
I am very inexperienced with cooking, and was wondering if i should heat the Prego sauce before adding it onto the pasta.
The pasta is already cooked.

Yes heat it before you pour it on the pasta or it will make you pasta cold. But you don't have to heat it. It is all up to you.
Prego with mushrooms is what I use.
I always add mushrooms, dice bell peppers, onions, garlic and cooked meat to my sauce.
Cook some ground beef or ground turkey or even sausage, add what ever you like when the meat is almost done. Finish cooking the meat.
Drain the meat. Then pour the bottle of sauce on the meat, stir and heat. Put that on your pasta, add graded cheese on top of the dish, serve with garlic toast and a salad. You have a full meal.
Or you can just heat the sauce and use it that way.

I am using 2 lbs of frozen meatballs, prego sauce and penne pasta in a crock pot. How many ounces of Pasta do I need for this and how much prego sauce. Should I cook the pasta on the stove instead of the crockpot?

If you are serving it for guests, you will want to heat the sauce and serve in on top of the spaghetti. If you are making it for yourself and don't want it too hot, you can just mix the sause in with the pasta, stir well, and serve. The meal will get cold pretty quick so if you are having a salad first, you may want to heat up the sauce. Heating the sauce won't take anything away from it, it just dirties another pan!

Heat the sauce! It will taste better and wont cool off the pasta so quickly. Either put it in a microwave safe bowl and zap it ( put somethin g on the top, or you'll have a huge mess, but don't seal a lid to the bowl), or put it in a small saucepan on the stove at a low temp. Watch it, or you'll have a mess on the stove.
To make it easier, only heat what you need and put the rest in the fridge in it's original jar. Don't add left over heated sauce to the jar, though. It'll get kinda gross quicker.
Enjoy your dinner!
