I finally convinced my family to try eating fresh fish (something that isn't breaded) and I want to make this a dinner they will enjoy. What side dishes would go great with Tilapia?

I have mulled over either cutting the sugar content in half to half a cup or throwing in some Splenda to see if it would work.

This is a Bisquick-based recipe that calls for one cup of sugar to go with the banana bread. I want to bake something tasty but healthy at the same time. This dessert is for an at-work potluck party.

Any suggestions? What would happen if I left out the sugar completely? I also thought about adding blueberries to the recipe instead of nuts (I like the taste of blueberries better than nuts, which was suggested in the recipe).

Thanks!

ok so i know that if a fresh clam is open, it is dead or dying and you have to chuck it. Why? just because it is dead it is not safe to eat? i mean you don't throw away a steak because the cow is dead. The clam has been kept cold just like the live clams, so why can't you use a dead clam?

You know when you go to a cafe and you can sometimes get the mini butter in foil wraps or a little flora tub when you buy toast. Well can these be bought anywhere? Id love to have some to use at home cos Im terrible when having toast I use too much butter and 1 per slice would be great for portion control.

Anyone have any ideas when I can buy or order them?

Thanks

I am making a curry with aready made pot of sauce, some chicken and veg. . .
On the instructions, it tells you to fry the chicken first BUT whenever I do this, it doesn't go very tender.
Do you think it would be better to boil the chicken breasts first and then add them to the curry sauce, etc.?

Thanks

I was just wondering...is there any food, that by general opinion (not personal opinion) tastes a lot better burned to a crisp then cooked regularly? Or does burning make all food taste bad?
