It means taking the center with the seeds out. There are corers that you can buy, but I just cut the apple in half (top to bottom) and make a V-cut in each half to remove the center/seeds.

You can find it all over the Big Apple - it's the people - the heart of the city, residents and tourists alike make the Big Apple what it is. It can be sweet and maybe a little bruised but the core is the center where it all starts, and without the variety of people it just wouldn't be the same.

take a shape paring knife and place in center of apple as far as it will go and in an up and down motion twist apple to cut core out of the center. Make sure you do not cut hole in bottom of apple. Remove knife and pull core out..
Or you could buy a apple corer to remove it..

It means to remove the center of the apple that holds the seeds. cut the apple into half, and half again. The point on the apple quarter is the core. Place knife on one end of the apple and pull the knife toward you, the core and seeds will cut away.

To core an apple is to remove the part of the fruit you wont use. (the tough middle part & seeds). You can core an apple by cutting it into quarters and then use your knife to cut the tough middle part and seeds out.

to "core" an apple means to take the core out duh. If you have an apple corer, which looks like a hollow cylinder with a handle, then shove it into the apple, twist, and pull out the core. Difficult. If not, then quarter it and cut into the core with a knife at an angle. geez retarded people.
