Look up a recipe for the Pasta Dough, then after its made, roll out 2 rectangles and mark one l that is laying on the work surface in 2 1/2"squares. Dot the cooked meat or cheese mixture in the center of each square. lay the other piece of same size pasta on top of the meat dots, then cut both at the same time as equally as you can. You can use a fork to press the edges of each square to make sure they seal. Also, before you lay on the top piece of pasta dough you can brush between the squares with beaten egg, this will help to seal the edges. Plain water might just do the trick too. Let them rest and dry for a little bit before you cook them i boiling salted water. As far as the filling, you can use meats from leftovers, such as a roast, onions carrots, but seems like they are put thru a food grinder with added seasonings. Cheese fillings are easier, A bit of Ricotta, and fresh grated Regianno Parmesan cheese & some grated Mozzerella, add an egg, garlic, parsley, a bit of oregano. Mix it up as a cheese filling. Then fill the pasta dough, let set to dry for about 30 minutes and cook.

I am Italian decent and trust me on this one , making raviolli is somewhat trying , leave it to the grocers , and buy it there ,so much easier and cost wise it is all rellevant,
But you could tell everyone that you did make it , only you know,
