Has anyone made a sheet of brownies and then used cookie cutters to make cute brownies? How did it work out. Did it cut nice and neat? I got a nice heart shaped cookie cutter at a fair this weekend and can't wait to try it when I next make brownies. I don't make that many cookies but thought it would be cute for brownies. Have you tried anything like this? The cookie cutter is thick enough to go through a brownie which is something I was thinking about. It is isn't real thin or anything. I would make sheet of brownies and then just cut. Think it will work?

I'd like to know the "scientific" principles behind stabilization of the fats in cheese when it melts. I'm interested in making some cheese sauces that don't separate when they melt, cool, or are re-heated. Sort of like a fondue (which I don't know how to make either, but that's another question!) :)
What is it that I add to melting cheese to keep it from separating so I can have some tasty homemade cheese dip? Thanks!!

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but it seems to cakey and not very dough-like. I'm not very good at baking, so what should I do? I followed the recipe and everything.

mom made pumpkin nut bread for her lunches at work, would it taste good to make a sandwich out of, like a peanut butter sandwich or any kind of sandwich.... also i never tried this but my friend takes peanut butter puts it one side then takes chocolate chips and puts in on the other (like a peanut butter banana sandwich) then he melts it like a grilled cheese. would this be good or does it sound nasty because i was looking for a reeses style taste and dont know if this is what im looking for... also i'm trying to eat healthier (and i was wondering if fruity pebbles for dessert would be better than say ice cream or cookies and what not....

I am a big turkey and chicken fan and thats it .... no fish or cow or anything else. What are some healthy hearty meals I can make that aren't at all fattening? I have already tried grilled chicken with vegetables... what is something DIFFERENT?!?

I have some beef in the rotisserie. The produce market had some really good looking baby potaotes. I bought 3lbs. Now I am wondering...Should I boil them in water? Or should I roast them with a little olive oil and other cut up veggies. I have some fresh arugula for a salad.

What do you think? Should I roast them or boil them?

A family gathering is organised, half are contributing the main, jacket potatoes and various fillings. The other half are doing the deserts. I have been asked to arrange some "Starters" ...bearing in mind, I am not a great cook, and need to transport bowls of "Starters" over 3 hours drive.
So ideas and recipies would be sooooo greatfully received.
