I just made M&M cookies with a twist yesterday! Do you have any semi-sweet baking chocolate squares? My husband cut up two of them and added them to the dough. Then halfway through baking we put peanut M&Ms on them and finished baking them. YUM. That semi-sweet chocolate added that little extra kick. Next time I don't have chocolate chips I'm going to cut up the bar of Toblerone I have sitting around. That should be good.

I love making cookies. The recipes below are some that I like to make. If you have cocoa, you can use it for two of the recipes below. The spiral/ribbon cookies are impressive looking as are the jam thumbprints.
You can always add candies or cookie crumbles to sugar cookies to give them more flavor. Some people use almond extract instead of vanilla extract (make sure you use only half the amount of almond extract, as it is stronger than vanilla).
