You know when you go to a cafe and you can sometimes get the mini butter in foil wraps or a little flora tub when you buy toast. Well can these be bought anywhere? Id love to have some to use at home cos Im terrible when having toast I use too much butter and 1 per slice would be great for portion control.
Anyone have any ideas when I can buy or order them?
Thanks

At 50 lbs, he'll be fine. My 50 lb pup has snatched more than his fair share of chocolate with no ill effects. (Not to say you should LET it happen, but if he makes off with a Reece's cup every once in a while, don't worry too much. Those things are mostly peanut butter anyway.)

I think you could do it at home with very cold butter and make your own pats. Restraining from using more than you need. A 1/4" cut of a cube of butter is a pat, allowed by most diets. Also, try using cream cheese instead of butter, good for a change and less fat, if you dont use too much.

Look in your area for restaurant supply company.
Or you can do this: take a stick of butter or margerine, and cut pats about 1/4 inch all down the stick. Wrap in foil, wax paper, or plastic wrap.

My mum is a caterer so she buys these kind of things. If you go to a big store like makro or hyperama you can buy them there...they sell lots of big boxes of stuff which is where people who own shops and cafes etc buy their stuff from i think. You might have to become a member though because i think my mum has some sort of card.

Why don't you freeze your butter for about an hour then cut it up into small portions and wrap them in cling film/foil for you to use then you can only use what you have each time

Then university shop near me sells things in those tiny portions for uni students so try a uni food outlet or ask where you are getting them from.

I think they are so wasteful - image all the packaging for all those portions. It would be better if you could restrict yourself to one scape of butter from a tub or dish and think of the planet!
