Do i measure 16oz in a liquid measuring cup? Or there even a difference in the liquid and regular measuring cups?

Is a cup just a cup no matter how you measure it lol?
Thanx

I have been trying to perfect deviled eggs lately. I just can't seem to get the egg shells to come off without talking part of the egg with it. I'd like for the eggs to look nice, but they end up having bits missing everywhere! Is there something that I am doing wrong? I am currently using free range chicken eggs. I wonder if perhaps the shells are different than ordinary eggs. Any helpful tips??

I have 2 perfect cut Filet Mignon steaks sitting here ready to go...
What do I do with them to get that melt in your mouth texture? We made the mistake of BBQ-ing them last time and they weren't very good. I'm thinking of oven cooking with a sauce this time... anyone know any good sauces for this? Thank you!

My coworker gave me a bag of mixed fresh herbs. Only two of them I reconize. Is there a website I can go to with pictures so I know what I'm eating. Some of it just looks like grass lol There's no question I trust him, so I know he wouldn't actually be giving me grass or anything dangerous. :) Thanks

It needs to be non-spicy and preferably ground up and browned b/c my husband has had throat troubles (actually closed up the other night and it needs to be small so he can swallow it easier) and I don't want it to aggitate him....

Thawed out hamburger this morning, and realized that all I really know what to do with it is kinda spicy (spaghetti, tacos, chilli, you get the drift) or just make a hamburger, which is kinda boring and considering we'll probably eat our fair share of those tomorrow, Id rather avoid it!

So, any suggestions as to what I can make for dinner tonight? Thanks!

HI, I am a very beginner cook and I don't know much. I can do simple things like bake cakes (by reading the direction on the package) and make pasta (with packaged sauce).

I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some recipes. Make sure to keep them simple and DETAILED. (Sorry about the capital letters, but you can make things bold.) I would like vegetarian recipes, because I don't want to have to prepare meat yet. (I'm not vegetarian, I just want to start at the bottom and go up.) I would really appreciate Indian curries, as I am south Indian. Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm doing the standard searches and have found a few recipes. Any personal recipes or personal recollections would be appreciated. Did the old folks in your family like it? (for the non- Italians: it is a sort of Puglian haggis!)

I had a recipe a LOOOONG time ago and lost it. It had tequila infused with hot peppers and mixed with juices. It was AWESOME! Icy cold and fiery hot at the same time. Anyone else have a recipe they like that is similar? Any drink that has a spicy booze like absolute pepppar or whatever is fine with me! Grazie!

I'm from West Virginia, and there is a hot dog sauce that used to eat all the time what was made with ground beef, a sweet tomato base, and onions. It's impossible to find anything like that here in the northwest. Anyone have the recipe? Of course, nobody puts coleslaw on their hot dog out here either. These people are nuts!
