Is a cup just a cup no matter how you measure it lol?

A cup is a cup in liquid and dry. Its just dry measuring cups allow you to level off and scoop off extras. Where liquids its more of a cup that is usually bigger.

con sugar? What is that? If it's Corn sugar, never heard of it....

If it's Confectioners Sugar then it would be 16oz by weight. When measuring Dry ingredients if says ounzes it means weight. If it's volume it will say Cups.

Never measure liquids in a dry measuring cup, never measure dry ingredients in a lipuid measuring cup. Always use a liquid measuring cup. While a cup is a cup. It's not accurate to interchange the measuring cups.

A cup is a cup.. however to get accurate measurements use a measuring cup for dry ingredients so you can fill up the cup then run the back of a knife across it to level it off to be sure you are getting the right amount.

If you need 16 ounces of confectioners sugar. You need the whole box... do not worry about measuring. If that is the size box you have.... I assume this is for the frosting and not the cake itself.... ????

If you have that much sugar in a cake it better be a very large cake.
