So, I'm not a chef, and I don't have very many seasonings. I have a lot of asian things (because I'm asian) but I wouldnt want a terriyaki steak. Haha. So what could i use to marinade some steak (lets say top sirloin or new york) with just a few ingredients?

I am having a luncheon the weekend and want to cook only healthy foods because some people have food intolerances/allergies. If I put a whole "Jap" pumpkin in the over how long does it take to cook (on medium heat). I would like cut the top section out and add something interesting to the top like other vegetables and/or sauce. Do you have any ideas? This type of presentation was popular in the "60-70s" I think but I haven't seen it for a while. I do not like to use e.g. cream and bacon (heavy and not healthy). I'm also looking for a recipe for wheat free and/or gluten free cake. Thanks for ideas and inspiration! Marcelle.

Years ago I ate the most delicious dish. It involved pide bread cut open and filled with ( I could be very mistaken) spinach, fetta cheese, ricotta cheese?, and maybe some egg. Although i do remember egg being glazed over the top of the bread before it went into the oven.

Can anyone help me find the recipe or know the name of the dish =)

The top had crushed Heath bars. It sounds simple enough, but, I need the exact measurements for the powdered sugar to cream cheese. Thanks!

Someone told me that you need to boil the corn for about ten minutes. Your suppose to boil the water first, then turn off the heat and place the corn in the pot. Is this true? Or do I keep the heat on?

I want to make it, but I don't have a recipe for it. Does anyone have any ideas? I've seen pictures of the prepared meat, but... does the filet mignon always come 'round' like that?... how does the bacon stay wrapped around it?... how do I cook it to a medium-well or well? If you have a good recipe, please share. Thank you.

When I peel the shell, sometimes part of the egg comes with shell. Why does this happen? I am so frustrated right now, I could spit nails. My poor eggs look like crap.

I didn't intend on BBQing chicken, but my guests @ my party DEMAND it. Is there any way I can grill frozen chicken on the George Foreman grill, or does it HAVE to be thawed out?

I have an old Proctor-Silex Ice Cream maker (around 1975). I do not have the directions to this machine. I would also like to know: How much rock salt? How much ice will it take? Maybe Ice Milk?

Thank you.

American/Canadian restaurants usually have some menu items that involve a grilled chicken breast served with steamed vegetables. The chicken breast always comes out really juicy on the inside and it has those grill marks on the outside.

I'm looking for one that's NOT specific to any culture (caribbean-style, asian, etc) since I'm looking for a general chicken breast recipe. It can't be spicy (also no Thai-style sauces, szechwan, or worcester sauces please).

I would prefer it to have a lot of flavour, BBQ sauce ok (not anything that has an overpowering smoky flavour) & perhaps be like that offered at Moxie's Grill or Pickle Barrel Restaurant.

Thank you!
