Cut a lemon in half and rub the surface of the grill with it. Use both the pulp and the rind side. The oils in the lemon should take out the smell. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.

Heavily sprinkle baking soda on the cooking surfaces, add just enough water to make a paste and give it a good scrubbing with paper towels or a sponge. Then rinse.
If that doesn't do it, try lemon juice.

I heard lemon does the trick. I know in the kitchen when you have fish odor you light a lemon candle.

I've used lemon juice to wash my hands to rid fish odor. It may work on that.
