i was going to make a frosting for my brownie, but i have no butter, is there anything i can use instead of butter????

melt choc chips and spread
OR
icing - powdered sugar, cocoa powder and milk

APPLESAUCE!!!

It's a great substitute. Substitute 1 cup oil with 3/4 - 1 cup unsweetened applesauce.

It says you need to try it a couple of times before you get but I tried it once and it was the tastiest baked goods(cake) I ever had. And the moistest!

P.S. This is only for baked goods I think...not frosting. Sorry :o(

You can substitue margarine for butter if you have some or you can use shortening for the frosting instead of butter.

Margarine or shortening, but the flavor will probably suffer to some extent.
