I just made mine last night, I got the recipe online. But it didn't turn out looking like cordon bleu lol. It was more like reverse cordon bleu. It was still good though, I just wanted it to really look like one. On the recipe, it had me use flour & paprika to cover the chicken. Should I use breadcrumbs instead? It was so hard to seal each chicken w/ ham & SWISS using a toothpick. Any other way to cook it? I would also like to use less fat (I used half butter & half extra virigin olive oil instead of full butter).

I was thinking something like a pot roast or tri tip as the meat, but here is the catch... we dont have a BBQ. Does anyone know some great ways to cook them? This is an important meal.... I am open to any suggestions.. pasta dishes, chicken? I REALLY appreciate it, I just got married and don't have the most experience in the kitchen :)

I know there are ways to make it with simple ingredients like flour, salt and yeast, but all the recipes I'm finding require bread machines.
Can someone provide a recipe please.

I don't like tomatos. So when a recipe calls for tomato paste or sauce or ketchup...what can I substitute?

Bacon is the main course, but I'm afraid after it's cooked, there won't be enough to fill me up.

Should I just cook another pound of Bacon?

i love to make this but i never seem to get it right. i use fresh beef shanks for the broth and fresh vegies but something's missing. it just doesn't have the richness that you find in restaurants. anyone know why? also, how do i make it so the broth is thicker? i've tried okra but it doesn't work.

I haven't made brisket in a while and I picked one up at the store that was pre-packed by a company...not wrapped by Publix (er...my local grocer).

I know it has been a long while since I made it, but I do not remember a jelly like substance all over the brisket and inside the package. I am hoping that it was just part of the seasoning and "pickling process".

I am I correct? Or I am going to have a bad case of food poisoning?

My long suffering husband is being hurled forever from one point on the globe to another. Before he can even contemplate jetlag, he's off to yet another continent. I don't always get to join him, and I love to make comfort food for him upon his return. Katsudon (pork cutlette domburi) or Pho Bo Vien (beef meatball soup)

My mom wants to know how to remove fat from broth or drippings? You know like when you read a recipe and it says, remove fat from drippings or whatever? She wants to know if anyone has any quick, easy and/or unique ways to remove fat from broth. I apologize if we're not using the correct terminology. Maybe I mean to say remove the fat from the drippings, or remove from broth, or??? I think you should get the idea though. Thanks!

You know the cheap box kind you had as a kid.
I heard that if you dont use all the macaroni it would
be cheesier. Last time i cooked it it wasnt very good, I
think I put too much butter, overcooked the macaroni.
