If its still in the vacuum sealed cryovac wrap that it came in then it is definitely good. My family loves turkey all year round, so at Thanksgiving when stores are practically crawling over each other to give them away at ridiculous low prices I purchase 8 and throw them in my chest freezer, they last all year long just fine. PS. Deep fried turkey is great. Once you try it that way you may never go back to roasting again.

Factory wrapped, a year or better. So go ahead and deep fry it but make sure it is completely thawed and patted dry before lowering it into hot oil.

frozen turkey should be ok but wouldnt leave it in freezer any longer. why on earth would you deep fry it. thaw it completely and roast it just as you would at xmas with stuffing etc.
