Something easy to understand not too complicated. He loves pasta, steak, carnitas, chicken.... the things that I've come across are really complicated though. Any advice would be appreciated.

I Searched and found suggestions to soak feta -- hey, I'm too lazy -- or to try goat's milk cheese -- had it before, not my type -- or try feta from France, Belgium, or Denmark -- maybe, but I wondered if there were a nice moist (crumbly) cheese with some kind of distinct taste like feta (not strong like Havarti -- gag!) but not nearly as salty. I love salt, but feta's a bit over the top in that department for me.

What do you like that's similar? I'm not a "gourmet cheese" person (read that as "I am cheap and shop at the grocery store, not some fancy place with low lighting and cheese hosts") so it would be nice to find a readily available type to use in cooking, salads, etc.

Thanks!

Whenever, I unwrap the leaves from iceberg/butter lettuce, the leaves always break, so my lettuce cups turn into lettuce strips instead (which is ok for home dinner, but not ok for entertaining).

Hey guys
I'm trying my darnedest to save money for grad school. So can you tell me, with only the ingredients I'm going to list, what the best way of grilling some chicken breasts on the George Foreman are?

-chicken breasts
-parmesan cheese
-ketchup
-mayo
-shredded cheddar cheese
-onion powder (and some other spices)
- grey poupon mustard
-honey
-Honey teriyaki marinade
-creamy italian dressing
-thousand island dressing
-bread crumbs
-taco seasoning
-brown sugar

Obviously, you don't need to include all the ingredients. I prefer sweeter tasting chicken and I'm kind of tired of chicken with italian dressing, topped with parmisan cheese (baked). Can you also include brief cooking directions (how long to marinade, how long to cook for, etc.). You may also assume I have a few other basic ingredients (salt, pepper, milk, sugar, etc.).

Give me your best!
Thanks.

I was thinking of filleting the pork chops we thawed out for dinner and putting spaghetti sauce on it and baking it. Then making noodles and putting it on them. Does that sound good?? I know I do it with chicken, but I am not sure it is going to work with pork chops.

Which do you prefer? Restaurant or a home cooked meal? What's your fav home cooked food, and favorite at a restaurant? For myself, nothing beats a good home cooked meal. Steaks, or hamburgers are better at home...you can prepare them as you like, for burgers you can make 'em as big & greasy as you want !! ... Restaurants are good for their atmosphere, and when you wanna relax and not worry about cooking. I like authentic Italian or German food when eating out.

I have just learned how good it is to cook with bacon grease! I'm going to start a can of it to keep for cooking. Do you refrigerate it or just put it in the cabinet?

Ok, my own personal poll.
How many of you frost your brownies. I mean with chocolate frosting.
I know you can have them with ice cream or whipped cream.
But I would like to know who likes them just plain.(no frosting)
and how many put chocolate frosting on them.I'm not talking what you can put in them, nuts, marshmellows etd., just the frosting.
