In case you aren't familiar with what I'm talking about by the name, I'm talking about the acryllic container that was being sold on TV for awhile. You are supposed to be able to pour boiling water into it with pasta and it cooks in the container. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I haven't had a batch come out right yet. What's been your experience? Any suggestions? Or should I just toss it and consider it a lesson learned?

Looking for good zucchini recpies. I dont really want anything with sauces or a lot of other ingredients. I already know about fried and baked zucchini, and stuffing it with hamburger and rice and boiling it. Anything else along those lines that are simple yet delicious?

Okay, so I've started to experiment with different recipes and it's really fun, but I can't find any good criticism for my work. It's all biased to the bright side and I want an honest opinion. Some of the things, people aren't even willing to try, even tho i've eaten it several times.

this is one of my best recipes, but no one will try it.
Ultimate Tea
3 teaspoons loosely packed spearmint (preferibly dried out and full leaf)
a pinch of cinnimon
A pinch of sweet basil
A pinch of nutmeg
A pinch of ginger
A very small pinch of thyme
1/4 cup sugar

Boil all the ingredients in 2 cups water untill fully green. Add 1/4 cup sugar and turn off heat.

Meanwhile take a large bowel or mug and a strainer. Place a coffee filter in the strainer and make sure that it covers the entire strainer.
Carefully pour the tea into the mug through the strainter and dispose of the remaining contents.

Go ahead and taste it while it's still hot and if it is too strong than place and ice cube or 2 in it. Enjoy

My wife and I took our honeymoon near Gatlinburg, TN several years ago and I'm thinking of preparing some of the local recipes as a anniversary gift. Anyone have some ideas of a local cookbook that I could order. We ate at many of the local restaurants, so one that included restaurant recipes would be nice too. I'm looking for some true Smoky Mountain recipes from locals. If you don't know of a cookbook but have a recipe, please share it.

My daughter has recently become very fond of them, and as she doesn't eat a wide variety, any suggestions would be appreciated, especially if there is a savoury recipe as well as a sweet recipe. Thanks.
