Something easy to understand not too complicated. He loves pasta, steak, carnitas, chicken.... the things that I've come across are really complicated though. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have a yard and a grill, put a couple of steaks on the grill.
Set the table real romantic-like with candle and flower centerpiece, soft music in the background. Wear a pretty dress .
Prepare beforehand a salad to go with your grilled steak. If he likes cakes , bake him a cake and frost it nice and decorate with those sugar letters you can buy from the Supermarket say "I
love you" on it. Make some mashed potatoes and gravy - follow the box directions for the mashed potatoes: it's easy and can be done quick. They have gravies of different kinds sold in Jars at the supermarket. Just warm some up to go with the mashed potatoes. I think the thought that goes with it and what you do out of love will make a good man appreciative. A hint: romance comes and goes. If you are thinking of marriage and a long relationship, it might be a good idea to learn to cook, even though you are "not much of a cook" you had said, but if you want to keep a man, he would need someone to feed him.

You could really surprise him (and yourself) and make lobster - really it's easy. Just get 2 lobsters at the market and have the butcher steam them for you - bring them home serve with clarified butter that has crushed garlic and parsley mixed in and a side dish of your fave salad (if you want you can get some rice a roni rice pilaf so it is a little fancier). Chill a bottle of Mum (blue label) or if you don't drink some sparkling cider (pear is nicer and less sweet) for dessert pick up some berries and get the microwaveable chocolate fondue in a bowl and serve with coffee and some angel food cake - The dinner will look as if you worked forever be simple and clean up a snap! Congrats and enjoy!

If you want to search some online recipe catalogs I would recommend going to these sites:

www.allrecipes.com

www.recipezaar.com

You can sort your searches by "highest rated" or something along those lines and find out what recipes have worked for other people. I'll go ahead and give you a chicken recipe that I've tried out on some picky eaters and they loved it. Oh, and also look at the recipe reviews for some tips on the recipe.

All mothers are enjoyed and celebrated at present, yet we don't worship the creation over the writer. Worship Jesus. Thank God that He gave us existence, for he's the writer of existence. Gen 2:7 (7) And Jehovah God formed guy of the dirt of the floor, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of existence; and guy became a living soul.

Go on youtube and search for the dish followed by the words "how to" and/or "recipe", you'll likely find many videos on how to cook any single dish. Pick the best one, and make it. It should give clear ingredients list, and clear instructions on how to cook it all. Easy breezy.

It's what I've started doing recently to make suppers more fun.

The guy wouldn't care about the meal, he only really cares about what you do after dinner, if you know what I'm saying.
