I want to start my family on a more healthful life style, but am having trouble finding recipes that all of the people in my family will enjoy that aren't loaded with unhealthy ingredients and calories. Any recipes?

Easy Garlic and Rosemary Chicken

INGREDIENTS
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons dried rosemary
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Cover the chicken breasts with garlic, then sprinkle with rosemary, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Place in a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until done and juices run clear (baking time will depend on the thickness of your chicken breasts).

Cajun Wild Rice this goes great with it.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup uncooked wild rice
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
1/4 cup water
1/2 pound andouille sausage, diced
1/2 cup diced sweet onion
1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, combine the wild rice, chicken broth, water, sausage, onion, mushrooms and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until rice is tender. Remove from the heat, and stir in the cream of mushroom soup. It's that easy!

Start by modifying family favorites switch pasta to a "healthy" version and use turkey sausage in place of pork. Make more salads and vegetable marinades with dinner get the kids involved in choosing ingredients and assembling the salad so they look forward to eating it. If you keep a Menu plan and 1 night a week is usually a fast food place try switching to Subway or some other low fat option like a Soup Plantation. Pizza can be made at home with turkey pepperoni and a selection of left over veggies to create fun toppings if everyone makes there own it saves you some work too! It is always easier to get kids to eat better if they feel they aren't losing any of their favorites! Good Luck!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMoqp

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Go Mediterranean,

Italian, Spanish and Greek. Stir Fries are great too.

Google them or buy cook books from amazon etc

I love cooking all of these and they are sooooo good for you.

My fav is a chopped onion, mushroom and your fav coloured pepper. Fry lightly in olive oil. Thinly chop chicken breast and throw in. If you have fresh herbs throw in basil, if not the dried stuff is great. I normally use dried mixed herbs. Pop in a carton of passata (or drained chopped tomatos) and serve with pasta.

There are loads of ways you can make similar med dishes and they are all really tastey.

If you have fussy young kids, let them help you with the cooking of the meal, chopping the veg, stirring the pot etc.

I took my bosses kids (age 6 &9) into my kitchen and let them help (they would only eat pizza and chips before). Days later they were serving up pasta attriciama (above recipe but with chilli and bacon) to their folks and grand parents!

To start off, try something farmiliar to everyones tastes. A good example would be pizza, but a healthier version thats home prepared. To start off, either buy pizza dough from the grocery store, or make your own. I would suggest making your own using whole-wheat flour to make a healthier crust. Next, add a bit of oil and top with reduced fat or fat-free mozarella cheese or any other cheese you would like. Next, top with any kind of toppins such as vegetables or lean cut meats. Lastly, place in the oven until the cheese is browned and the crust is crisp. This is a great way to get the family involved too!

Totally depends on your kids and their taste. My youngest is 14 and not a picky eater. One thing he loves is diced up boneless/skinless chicken breast cooked up in some olive oil and garlic and we add al dente pasta right to the skillet and toss and heat. You can add any veggies you like too.

Try making a salad bar with a variety of lettuces and fresh veggies and maybe some diced ham or chicken and shredded cheese and let them make their own with a couple of dressing to choose from. Just get the fat free versions.

You can also make chicken tacos or fajitas

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last couple years, I'm sure you've heard of the Paleo Diet. Read here https://tr.im/paleodietplan
I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.

I find that my kids enjoy eating what we are eating. My son (3) is sometimes reluctant to try new things, but he's funny, because he is scared to eat things like beef, but he'll eat all of his peas or corn. I'm happy with that. Just make them a plate of whatever healthy meal you would enjoy and encourage them to take a bite. maybe they don't try the brown rice, but they eat the brocolli or vice versa. Keep serving it and eating it yourself and they'll catch on.

you could do chicken nuggets.. cut up chicken breasts into strips.. dip in egg white.. roll in som seasoned bread crumbs with a little parm cheese.. put on greased cookie sheet.. spray the top of chicken with nonstick spray.. bake at 375-400 for about 15 min or till done

the spray makes em crispy without all the oil from frying
