Bacon is the main course, but I'm afraid after it's cooked, there won't be enough to fill me up.

Should I just cook another pound of Bacon?

Save the bacon for breakfast and go get yourself some type of fish. I would recommend orange ruffy which is a very good white fish, that your local market carries. If not a nice 2-3 pound trout will be good. Toss in a salad and a baked potato and you have a $10.00 meal that will make you feel good. If you still want the bacon, cook it crispy and crumble it on everything. Yum.

My mum has this recipe for bacon and egg pie and it's good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. All you need is 500g (1lb) packaged puff pastry. 250g (8 oz.) bacon. 6 Eggs. Salt & Pepper. 1 Egg Yolk. ! Teaspoon Water.

Roll out half the pastry and line a 20 cm pie plate, refrigerate 15 minutes. remove rind and excess fat from bacon, chop roughly, cook gently for 3 minutes, allow bacon to cool, place half the bacon in base of pie plate, break the eggs in one at a atime, being careful not to break the yolks, arrange eggs in circular pattern, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with remaining bacon to cover eggs, roll out remaining pastry, cover pie, press edges together well, trim edges, brush with combined egg yolk and water, decorate top if desired, refridgerate for 15 minutes, bake in hot oven 15 minutes, reduce heat to moderate, cook further 15 to 20 minutes, serve hot or cold, with tomato(ketchup) or barbeque sauce! Hope you enjoy the recipe cuz it's really good! Serve with salad or chips or whatever!

Try not cooking it crispy, then it is more like a slice of meat, it's great on BLTs that way and I can make 4-5 sandwiches from a pound of bacon

Bacon and Grits and Shrimp if you got those too! Or just like having a deep southern low country breakfast for dinner! or a Ta-so ham mixed in shrimp and girts w/ scallions and pepper.

For Dinner Bacon and Grits with collard greens would be good too!

i came up with this the other day.... pretty good for a quick dinner...

i cut up the bacon in small pieces and browned.. remove from pan.. saute some diced onion.. then added a can of cream of onion soup and some milk to desired consistency.. made some minute rice.. then mixed it all together

you could use any kind of soup.. and maybe try noodles or even mashed taters too

You could cook up a few eggs (I like mine over easy) and make some hash browns and toast. Or saute' up some calve's liver and some onions and top it with some bacon.

Make a small burger and put lots of bacon on it. Or a quiche with tons of bacon. You can even cut it up and make a salad with it (lettuce and or whatever you like tomato's, artichoke hearts, onion etc...)

everything goes good with bacon! lol, what about a sandwich? go ahead and cook more, you can snack on it all night! i actually like bacon and chocolate as a midnight snack. sounds gross, but it's good, you get the contrast of sweet and salty, and soft and crunchy.

How about some eggs, like an omelet or pancakes/waffles.
Eating a pound of bacon isn't good for you.
