I'm baking a meatloaf for dinner this evening for company. It's about 2 pounds. My meatloaf is usually never done in the middle. What temperature and for how long should it bake to have it done completely through. Should it be covered with foil during baking or covered for awhile and then the foil removed part way through baking?

My wife is a "cutter". She says tearing lettuce bruises the leaves. I always thought "tearing" lettuce was the commonly accepted proper way to make lettuce for a salad. What is right? I am especially interested in the answer regarding homegrown organic lettuce; as perhaps the grocery store lettuce is bred to be a bit more bruise proof (my speculation)...

I have a lemon bundt cake with glaze that I want to cool overnight. It's already cooled over an hour. Should I cover it with plastic wrap overnight or will that mess up the glaze?

It has white beans, ham, and vegetables (celery, I think). I'm not really sure what the beans are called, but they're white, and the shape of pintos, but smaller. My uncle made it for Thanksgiving, and I also had it at my friend's house once. So yummy. Does anyone know what it's called, or where I can find a recipe?

those homemade ice cream makers that turns out actually creamy? Everytime I use mine, it makes ice cream but it's like milky/slushy ice cream, not thick-thick ice cream.

I like a thick sauce truely a gravy style with ground up meats in it. How ever light on spice or hot my ulcer does not cope well with that.

I once had peanut butter fudge with I think oatmeal in it? It was kind of gritty. I loved the texture. Does anyone know any peanut butter fudge recipes that are not so creamy?
