I toss 'em packages of ramen noodles and holler boil yer own water, dammit. If ya want dessert, there's a Dairy Queen down the street, you lazy phuques.

Definitely comfort food, but kicked up with fresh herbs and tasty spices. I love making lasagna with fresh veggies and herbs in the sauce, accompanied by a fresh salad and homemade bread. For the summer, we love grilling burgers that we've made with herbs and spices. Usually we serve marinated grilled veggies on the side.

Barbecued Milkfish stuffed with tomatoes, onions, & chilies
Creme Caramel for dessert
Just simple food nothing fancy. I'll give you the recipe one day.

I usually put out a lot of appetizers and desserts . It just feels more relaxed to me to let my guests pick and sample with a cocktail in hand. Chocolate fondue with strawberries is really fun.
But if it must be a sit down meal, enchiladas are always on my list.

Generally comfort food. A huge pot of home made soup, or a roasted chicken with roasted vegetables and salad, or a marinated pork roast with baked apples, veggies and a salad.

I cook chili because I get a lot of compliments on it. Or if we are just hanging around I will make veggie pizza, beer cheese, Montgomery inn meatballs, all kinds of appetizers to snack on.
