We are going to deep fry a turkey tomorrow - using one of those fryers with the propane tank out in the driveway. I bought an injectable marinade that is garlic & herb flavored, but what else do I need to do to season it? How much oil & for how long do we fry? It's a 13 - 14 lbs........Any suggestions appreciated - suggest some sides, too please

Thanks for the help!

I am generally a good cook at least my kids say they love my food but not the best baker. I am having issues with baking brownies lately. The edges are getting crispy but the center is a pudding consistancy. I moved to an elevation of 5,000 ft. Can high elevation have any thing to do with it? I believe this oven usually runs hot so I put them on the minumun time requirement and the edges get crisp and the center stays gooey. Any ideas? Sometime I have good luck but somedays a mess. I follow the package directions. Help???

I could use a few pointers to make better fajitas. I use the skirt meat like I'm supposed to, but the stuff I find is a little too chewy. Is the difference in the way I prepare it, or do I need to find a better cut of beef? Any other tips on preparation would be good such as spices and method of cooking. I usually purchase the spices in an envelope and marinade with olive oil, then cook in a pan or fajita skillet.

This recipe had currents/sultanas and was soaked in a custard but the interesting thing was that when you chilled it - it came out as a slice. Any recipes?
