Squirt lemon juice on it, sprinkle dill over it, and drizzle a little melted butter on top. Then wrap it in a foil packet (not tight, make a sort of pocket of aluminum foil for the fish), and grill it until the fish flakes with a fork.
Roast potatoes are good with salmon, and a nice garden salad.
Now I'm all hungry...

4 tbsp. Olive oil
1/4 c. Onion, grated
2 tsp. Freshly grated ginger
2 tsp. Minced garlic
4 tbsp. Soy sauce
1/8 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. Paprika
4 Sm. salmon steaks
Preparation
Combine marinade ingredients in a 9x13 pan or zipper seal bag. Add salmon, turn to cover with marinade. Let marinade for at least 15 minutes. Longer is better. Cover grill rack with aluminum foil brushed with oil. Place salmon steaks on grill and brush with marinade. Cook for about 10 minutes. Turn with a spatula, brush with more marinade, and continue grilling 10 minutes more.

You don't say if you're cooking salmon fillets or salmon steaks. Salmon has a lot of flavor on it's own, so I wouldn't recommend going overboard adding strong flavors, although i must admit, fresh garlic is a favorite flavor of mine.. esp. fresh garlic. I prefer the salmon fillets, and I like to broil them, so I try to pick out thicker fillets. Sometimes I find them with the skin off, but it's very easy to remove, which I prefer to do. You don't really need a recipe... just season it the way you like. If you'd like garlic, then I'd suggest crushed garlic in a little olive oil and sparingly spooning it over the salmon. (ordinarily I'd brush on any kind of marinade, but the garlic would stick to the brush). I found a garlic seasoning mixture that is wonderful that I've used. It's in one of those tall grinder containers. I've seen it in a few places (Costco is one). But any nice seasoning mixture would be nice. Broil for about 4 minutes on one side, then turn. The skin is then easily removed with a knife of thin metal spatula by just slipping the knife or spatula under the edge and lifting. No fish comes off with it. Spoon the olive oil and garlic onto the other side and broil another 2-4 minutes, depending on thickness. I wouldn't substitute garlic powder for the fresh garlic. I'd use a mixture, or ground pepper and some nice herbs (like tarragon and dill).

I know this sounds too simple but with any good quality meats, including red flesh fish, the best way to grill is with salt and pepper only. Rub just alittle olive oil over the entire salmon then sprinkle on salt and pepper on both sides. If someone in your group enjoys spicy food, sprinkle on just a little cayan pepper but don't over do it or you will completely hide the salmon flavor. Good Luck

Grill the salmon with a squirt of lemon over the top of it. Add a little salt to highlight the taste. As a side dish have a pear salad with balsamic vinegar. The two compliment each other perfectly and it is one of the healthiest meals you can eat. You can eat lots of it and not worry bout your weight. Perfect

I like to take a nice piece of salmon filet & marinate in spicy italian dressing for a couple of hours. Light coals on grill & get to medium/hot....Place salmon skin side down on a large piece of foil sprayed with pam. Brush salmon sprinkle a fewl cloves of garlic minced over salmon, then add lemon slices and a spoonful of apricot jelly or jam. Seal foil into pouch & grill 20 - 25 minutes or just til center is opaque....Serve with garlic mushroom rice and grilled corn on the cob, along with homemade garlic bread and plenty of garlic butter for dipping....Yummy!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMoa3
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

just season it with salt on the top and bottom. hopfully your salmon still has the skin on it if not next time buy it with the skin. make sure to message the salt in the fish. and grill until skin is crispy. it should only take about 4 to 5 mins.
once on your plate drizzle some olive oil on top of it.
