I like to bake french bread, but I can never seem to get a really crusty crust like in bread restaurants (e.g. Panera) I've tried spritzing with water, and basting with an egg milk mixture, but not getting the crust I want. Any suggestions?

We had a peach festival and we have a whole box of leftover peaches. I'm afraid they're going to go bad before we have a chance to eat them all and so i'm looking for some recipes that use peaches that isn't anything too fatty like a cobbler. We have around 40 medium sized peaches left.

I'm looking for a recipe that someone gave me, and I can't find it! DOH!
It's a type of layered strawberry pound cake using cool whip, and I think other ingredients needing to be in the fridge. It just seems to almost melt in your mouth, it's so light and creamy. And it tasted so delicious, that it seemed (almost) sinful.
I've found several online, but I want the one recipe I lost, lol.
This is one of the closer ones: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1941,151162-249193,00.html, but I thought it required a lot of preperation time and a lot of time in the fridge because of the ingredients. Here's another that seemed like it would require the fridge and a little more preparation: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,186,152172-245192,00.html
Do you have any idea what the recipe was?

I am trying to make strawberry whipped cream. I got heavy whipping cream and strawberry jello. I put 1 1/2 cups of whip. cream, 1/2 cup of powder sugar 2 packs of slpenda and about half of the jello into my mixer. I started the mixer and began washing the dishes. It didn't look like enough so I added the rest of the carton. Started the mixer again and now it looks like chunky throw up. What did I do wrong? Please help me!
