My best friend (which is a guy) loves it when i make him sugar cookies. he loves them gooey. i am tired of just making them so plain though. how can i decorate some for him that isnt so intricut that he is like wow, but he knows i put some time into it. i really like this guy, so i want him to know i care, but not that i am desperate to please him. ideas please!!!

Do a base color of royal icing (you can find the recipe on-line) in his favorit team color. Let it dry. Make additional royal icing, leaving it white and thin it out a bit with water. Take a brand new kitchen sponge, dampen it and then dab it into the royal icing and then tap onto the cookie. It makes a neat pattern, looks like you really know your stuff and it's easy!

Get that decorating gel stuff that you can put on cakes. It's gooey and cool looking. You can design something like two simple birds looking at each other with hearts above their heads or something cute like that. Hope this helps!

um try adding icing to them or get fonet for a fancy design but i dont think fonet is edible...get edible candy designs that can enhance the look of the cookie
