What vegetable and dessert are good with lasagna?

Made lasagna and cannot think of anything to go with it...can be an italian dessert or not...but one that is easy! Thank you

I always like a nice tossed green salad with lasagna,and because lasagna is so rich,I think a nice light desert is best,like strawberries and whip creme.( on angel food cake or not) People are usually so stuffed after lasagna,the thought of dessert is only good if its light.

I wouldn't serve any vegetables on the side instead I would put them in the lasagna and have it be part of the dish, carrots are great and so is spinach. Taramisu is always a great dessert for a pasta meal. Enjoy!

I like sauteed vegetables such as zucchini and squash with olive oil and garlic. Since the lasagna is so heavy I would recommend a light dessert. I think marscapone cheese sweetened with fresh fruit and maybe some honey or chopped nuts on top.

FRENCH BREAD (not a veggie or dessert but a must!)

For dessert stick with the theme and go with Italian Ice (in the ice cream section)

Green beans. Put them in a frying pain with a little bit of olive oil and garlic. Saute until done.

Garden Salad or a Caesar Salad is great with lasagna.
I also make garlic bread.
Desert could be anything. Some like Ice Cream, Italian Ice Cream is good.
