I have to do a report on Italy and we have an option of making food.(extra credit) I need recipes and to know what is it. P.S. I can't have anything extremely fancy. Thankz

I am making beef with gravy over rice. I have a package of frozen mixed veggies which include carrots, corn, green beans, peas and lima beans. I have another frozen package of italian mixed veggies which include zucchini, broccoli, carrots, italian grean beans and lima beans. The veggies will be my side dish for tonight's dinner, however, I don't want to do the usual steaming and serving. I want to add a kick to them and not just by adding a seasoning. Is there anywhere I can cook or saute them that you can recommend me to do so they would go well with the beef and gravy over rice? Recipe in full please. Thanks in advance.


P.S. I think I'll be using the regular mixed veggies not Italian.

I just got a bottle of Vanilla from a friend who just got back from Mexico. Ingredients on the label: vanilla bean extract in water, vanillin, alcohol, corn syrup

What should I do with it? Is it any different from the vanilla extract in the US?

My pans were handed down to me so I dont know if I can transfer them to the oven during cooking. They have no plastic, unless you count the teflon. They have a wooden handle and metal bottom with teflon coating.

What pans should you not put in the oven?

I have been to a party where they have this on a buffet table with a whole bunch of other appetizers. Its a large round or ovalish type of bread and it's stuffed with cheese and some other stuff. To eat it you have to tear off the pieces of bread and dip it in the cheese. It's Soooooo Good! Please help me with the slightest idea!

I know for a fact it dosen't have artichoke or meat in it and it's not spicy. (It's very cheesy)
