You would probably cut large chunks of whatever you are putting in roughly, like you said, whole, surely they would block up.....
I got a nice recipee for you.
half glass s/s milk
1 scoop of Vanilla ice cream
quarter cup of frozen berries, i prefer raspberrys and blueberrys
About 3 icecubs - blitz....serve and drizzle some rasperry sauce on top....yum yum

I add ice cream (in Texas I have to use Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream), milk and fruit of choice in the blender. Then blend. Enjoy

I like to make my own latte blast.
1cup of coffee
3-4 tbsp of coffee grounds
5-6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
and a 4 second "squeeze the bottle of mocha syrup hard as you can upside down" in the blender and mix everything well.
No way in hell I'm waiting for it to chill in the freezer for 30 mins or so so it thickens. I want mine now!!

yes, just blend
peanut butter, banana
banana, chocolate
pineapple, coconut
hot fudge, marshmallow cream
chocolate, strawberry, pineapple, hot fudge, blueberry, blackberry, marshmallow cream, the list goes on and on
any kind if candy (blend candy up first)
to make simple syrup melt 1 cup sugar in 1 cup water, then
mix with 1 bag frozen fruit (thawed), like strawberries or pineapple. this is a great topping for ice cream, cake or anything. this is better in milkshakes than fresh fruit.
for thicker shakes omit milk. plain vanilla ice cream works best. (my dad owned a dairy queen)

O.K. shove all your ingredients in a blender. My perfect shake consists of: Bannanas, orange juice, and vanilla ice cream. Blend your banannas w/ ice cream until its blended to the right consistency ad milk to lessen the thickness. After its blended, addjust a cup of orange juice to it and blend again. Very delicious!!!!!

yes you put ice cream, milk, chcolate sauce for chocolate or vanilla extract for vanilla. I like milkshakes made with mint chip ice cream but only the kind with the little tiny shaved chocolate in it not the big chunks of chocolate..i think its lucerene brand. so i just put that ice cream and milk and its good ..oh yummy you made me want a milk shake!

Yes mix it all together. And , no it would not lock up the blender. You can put ice in a blender, it's harder than chocolate.

I add milk first then the ice cream and extracts. Why? if you add ice cream first it will bind the blender.. For Vanilla , I add in Vanilla Extract.. it gives it a better flavor..
