White rice (the boil in a bag kind) with chicken from the crock pot. What you do is buy either fresh chicken breast, or the frozen kind. Put into crock pot with a cup of water and a cup of chicken stock. Cook all day. Using a large spoon mash the chicken and then put it over rice. YUM!

I've done baked unsplit boneless chicken breasts that are heart shaped. I used to get the unsplit breasts all the time, you may have to ask your butcher for it special. If you can't find the unsplit breasts you can do this with regular breasts as well. In the bottom of a covered dish combine 2 Tb good quality olive oil, pepper and salt. You can also add a little lemon juice or white wine and a touch of rosemary if you like, but for romance I'd avoid garlic unless you're both big garlic lovers. Add chicken and turn a couple times to coat. Cover and bake about 45 minutes. Serve with a baked potato, steamed veges and a green salad. This is a nice light dinner so you won't be to full for a luscious dessert or ..er..romantic activity. Strawberry shortcake might be fun...you could have it in bed later! Of course you'll also want some nice wine, have two or three bottles on hand. And candlelight, throughout the house. Don't use scented candles in the kitchen or dining room, they'll interfere wtih the taste of the food.

Chicken or shrimp stiry fry. Defrost chicken or shrimp. Cook chicken in a wok or frying pan with some teriyaki or stir fry sauce. Add lots of fresh or frozen veggies. You can also add peanuts or walnuts if you like. You can use any combo of veggies that you like. Make sure you add more sauce and some garlic powder. Cook until veggies are a little soft and chicken is cooked through. You can then serve over rice or angel hair or even in a fajita shell.
If you use pre-cooked frozen shrimp cook your veggies first and add the shrimp at the end just until it pinks up and gets a bit smaller then when you started.
A vegetarian option would be to leave out the fish and chicken and just make the veggies, it's great!! You can always add beans if you like for protein if not using meat.

I mix Minute rice (white or brown, your choice) with chopped, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar, and cream of mushroom soup (1-2 cans, depending on how many people you are cooking for). Add the rice to the soup just until it is kind of a thick oatmeal-like consistency. You can add a little milk if it gets too thick. In a baking pan or casserole dish, pour the mixture over chicken breasts or tenderloins (frozen or thawed) and sprinkle a little more cheese on the top. Cook at 375 until the chicken is cooked through.

This is my quick I don't have much time and easy to prepare recipe.
4 chicken breasts
Mix a cup of flower, tablespoon of Paprika, and teaspoon of salt.
Roll chicken in mixture till covered.
Cook in oven in a dish with a half a cube of butter at 425 for 15 minutes flip and cook other side for 15 minutes.
I usually serve with canned green beans (sprinkled lightly with vegetable delight by Schilling) and rice (usually out of a microwave packet because it is quick). A salad is optional.

i have given this recipe out to everyone who has tried it and on here a couple times.
Taco Pie
INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pound ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
8 ounces shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
1 (14.5 ounce) package crushed tortilla chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lay crescent dough flat on the bottom of a square cake pan and bake according to package directions.
Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the taco seasoning and stir together well. When dough is done, remove from oven and place meat mixture on top, then layer with sour cream and cheese, and then top off with the crushed nacho chips.
Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
Serve with the usual toppings for like tacos, lettuce, tomato, olives, anything you would like. Its simple and my family asks for it all the time.

I found this recipe in one of my cookbooks- it's called Ranch Chicken.
It's very simple, all you have to do is coat a chicken breast in ranch dressing, and then in unseasoned breadcrumbs, and fry it in oil in a skillet.
My boyfriend loves caesar salad, so I decided to shake it up a bit.
I used caesar dressing with parmesan flavored breadcrumbs instead. That also came out very well. I'd imagine you can use any creamy salad dressing to fit your tastes.
I like to serve it with twice baked potatoes (another easy recipe but t hey take so long to bake), corn, and stir-fried green beans and peppers.
