Does anyone know an easy, with just 3 or 4 ingredients, recipe for a baked potatoe? Something that is relatively quick to prepare/bake? I don't like onion so that is not an option. Any help would be appreciated.

do you have to use an oven? cause im in the dorms and the oven doesnt work all too well :)

All recipes ask you to put the oven on broil. Is that right?? Isn't that too hot? I don't want to burn the outside and leave the inside uncooked.

I was planning on doing it in the oven, as bbq is not an option right now.

I am makeing a red velvet cake i am useing a box mix because i think useing coco will be nasty If i try to make it from scratch. I have 3 different box mix flavors for the cake chocolate. white and vanilla i think i will use white first. I think i will try to incoporate a 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin to make the actuall cake red and taste like strawberry. But i am not sure what else to add to make this a complete recipe and of 5 star taste i want the white cake mix to taste like strawberry along with the frosting i think i will use cream cheese frosting i think buying premade boxes and frostings is sometimes the cheaper route whenever a recipe calls for cream cheese i use cream cheese frosting because it is like 8 times cheaper and coco is way to expensive and box mixes are cheaper and anything made by devil is bound to be good i first thought of blending real strawberry's with the box mix or the juice but not exactally how to go about that

I have a beef brisket. My husband had some at a shindig at one of the plumbing supply houses. He doesn't liked boiled corned beef and cabbage, but this he liked. He thinks it was baked he said it was tender, but he doesnt know what spices or how to cook. Does anyone have any simple recipes with ingredients you normally have in the house. I dont have any beer. Any Ideas?.

i recently started learning how to cook, and i absolutely LOVE fish like swordfish and salmon. I had no problem cooking the salmon on the stove, but the swordfish came out awful! i don't have easy access to a grill, so i cooked it stove-top in some olive oil and a little salt and pepper. the finished result was a tasteless, chewy, probably overcooked mess. any suggestions for better fish?

When I watch shows on baking they always cover their cakes with something that looks like play-dough, it makes the cake appear to have been frosted with no seams. Apparently it can be colored. What is it? Does anyone have a recipe I can use to make it?

I'm making a new recipe tonight--tortellini carbonara. The only green vegetable I have on hand right now is frozen broccoli florets. (Too lazy to go to the store on the way home from work, lol). Anybody have any ideas what to do with it? I could just do the standard: Steam it with a little butter and salt, but that's too boring--seems that's the only way I cook it anymore! All ideas/suggestions/recipes appreciated. Thanks!
