Has anyone ever heard of this? We were dining at a restaurant yesterday and they had the best steamed veggies. The waiter said they used vegetable butter--said it looked the color of coffee flavored ice cream. Where can you buy this sort of thing? I've never heard of it!

i am not sure about the recipe for this cookie but i know that the dough has coconut in it and that you roll the cookies in dry strawberry gelatin........does anyone have any idea what this cookie recipe is

We love the fried pickles at these two local resturants, and would like to make them at home. Does anyone know the batter recipe used at happy chef and Joensys in Iowa. The texture of the batter seems to me to be cornmeal, but am not sure.. They are delicious..

My kids are very picky. They don't like eggs, they don't like bacon, and they don't like sausage. I need some dinner ideas of stuff they would like.
Just give me the name of the recipe, and it would also really help if you told me how to make it.

I am fed up with having toast for breakfast and would like ideas for savoury only breakfasts which either no cook or cook in microwave please. I do not have a stove. Breakfast is essential for me as I am diabetic. Sugar is not an option. I just do not do sweet stuff. All contributions gratefully received and tried and given the thumbs up!

My neighbor from YEARS ago used to make this awesome spanish rice. I had it written down but have no idea if I even have it anymore (doubt it). So I was wondering is anyone has heard or made one similiar. This is what hers called for but I can't remember how much of what or how to cook it.

white rice
corn
can of tomato sauce
chicken cube stock
oil
water (I think)
