buy premarinated pork tenderloins and make potatoes and stuffing.
chicken pot pies are easy and not too expensive, here is the recipe i use:
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
1 (5 ounce) can chicken chunks, drained
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated layered biscuits
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly butter a 9 inch deep dish pie pan with melted butter; reserve some of the melted butter.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine mixed vegetables and chicken; cook until vegetables are tender. Fold in soup; mix well. Pour in milk and mix until smooth; mixture should not be runny. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and spread mixture into bottom of pie pan. Separate biscuits into layers and place gently on top of mixture. Drizzle remaining butter on top of biscuit layers.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

spaghetti or chili is always a quick inexpensive meal to cook that goes along way as well. It's not really new and exciting but it's different from what you have been fixing. When fixing spaghetti I like to serve broccoli on the side and well as garlic bread, my family loves this dish. When fixing chili my family likes extra beans, one can tomatoe sauce, 1 can pinto beans, 1 can kidney beans, half can of water and chili mix. You can add 1 can of corn optional. Then I get a box of jiffy mix cornbread, which is like .40cents a box, go by directions then add about a cup of shredded cheese. Happy cooking!

I have a stuffed chicken recipe thats easy and good.

I usually get like 4 chicken breasts usually like 4 dollars at Walmart.

Pound out the chicken breast.
Now you can use brocceli but my fiance hates brocceli so I use Fresh Spinach.

We east fresh spinach for a salad every night so you could utilize the spinach with a salad too.

But I use cajun seasoning you could just use salt and pepper or add whatever you want.

I pound out the chicken, season, put a few spinach leaves on, and add some shredded cheese (whatever kind you like).

Roll up and hold with toothpicks.

I put the oven at 425 and bake for about 40 minutes. I have an older stove so I have to bake longer. You'll just have to check.

I serve with a flavored rice, and garlic bread, plus salad.

I think even with buying rice, salad, and bread it costs me about 15 bucks.

I also do a Tilapia.

Buy 4 Tilapia fillets at walmart for about 4 dollars.

Season with whatever seasoning. Take 2 lemons cut in half. Squirt a half of a lemon on each fillet (or use lemon juice from a bottle)

Bake at 425. If you have a good stove about 10 minutes. I usually cook mine about 15. But to check just take a fork and if you can lift the first layer its done.

I serve with again a different flavor of rice and a salad. Thats even cheaper like 10 bucks but very good.

Chicken and 40 cloves. Buy a whole roaster chicken, butcher into 8 parts, reserving the neck, giblets and back to make stock with later. Dry the chicken with paper towels, season with salt and pepper. Toss chicken parts with 2 tbs olive oil. Heat a 12" skillet over medium high heat until hot. Sear the chicken in batches until nicely browned, appx 4 minutes a side, and set aside.

When the chicken is fully seared, deglaze the pan with 3/4 cup white wine, and add 40 cloves of garlic still in their papery husks. Add the chicken parts back into the pan, along with a 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 2 sprigs of fresh thyme.

Set your oven to 350, cover your pan, and bake for 1.5 hours. Take out the chicken, and return the pan to medium high heat. Simmer uncovered until sauce is slightly reduced, and will coat the back of a spoon. Add 1 tbs butter just prior to removing sauce from heat. Serve with crusty bread. The garlic will be super sweet and smooth. Squeeze a clove to squirt out a delicious garlic paste onto the bread, spread, and enjoy.

I make frittatas with leftovers in the fridge such as homefried potatoes, roasted peppers, spinach, broccoli, onions, asparagus, cheddar and parmesan cheeses, seasonings like thyme, black pepper, salt garlic, parsley, dill. Floow the below recipe and be creative!

Spanish Frittata (potato omelet)
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO)
1/4 lb chorizo sausage, casing removed and chopped
2 large boiling potatoes, cut in half and thinly sliced (white)
1 small onion, thinly sliced
4 garlic cloves, chopped
12 extra-large eggs (or 1 quart of pasteurized egg yolks)
1/3 cup half-and-half (eyeball it)
1 teaspoon salt
black pepper
1/4 lb manchego cheese, grated
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped (a couple of handfuls)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Heat a 12-inch, nonstick, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Add EVOO and chorizo, and cook until the chorizo is crispy, about 3 minutes.
Add the sliced potatoes and onions, and continue to cook, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes (until the potatoes are tender).
Add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute.
Beat eggs together with half-and-half then whisk in the salt and pepper.
Pour the eggs over the filling and let the eggs set.
Using a spatula, raise eggs off the bottom of the skillet, allowing more of the liquid egg to settle.
When the frittata has set, sprinkle with the cheese and transfer to the oven.
Cook for 10-12 minutes until top is deep golden brown.
Remove and let stand 5 minutes.
Garnish with parsley, if desired, then cut into wedges and serve.
Enjoy!

Kebabs. Marinate chicken (or pork or beef) in some chilli powder, fresh coriander and lime juice. Cook under the grill or in the oven for about 20-25 mins. Serve with rice and salad. Perfect!

Pasta is very easy as long as you can boil water. Alot of store bought pasta sauces are good right out of the jar. You can also brown up some ground beef or cook up some sausage and add that to the sauce if you want meat in your diet.

season and sautee some chicken pieces or chicken breasts in a lightly oiled skillet until browned. then put them in a casserole dish and pour a can of cream of mushroom soup over them and a half can of water, and some dried thyme. cover them with a lid and bake them in the oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. you can also throw in a few veggies too...(carrots, onions, potatoes). this dish is delicious served with rice or mashed potatoes and dinner rolls.
