I bought Pilsbury Buttermilk Biscuits, and completely forgot about them. Appparently, they've been in my fridge for a month or so. It says by Feb 7. However, they are in those metallic cans. Are they still good or do I throw them away?

I love gyros when I go to Chicago but want to make my own and show my family how great they are. I can find everything (pita bread, feta cheese, etc) but the gyros meat here locally? Do you know where I can find it? Thanks.

Stuffed Porkchops

1 egg, beaten
2 cups whole kernel corn
4 pork chops butterfly cut
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In bowl, combine bread crumbs, butter, egg, and corn. Mix until it is a stiff stuffing. Cut parallel into each chop to create a pocket. Stuff each pork chop with stuffing mix. Place chops in a cooking dish and then pour mushroom soup over top. Bake for about 45 minutes or until chops are cooked all the way through.

From which side and to what length do I slit them?
Should I marinate them before I start cooking them tonight?
If so, what marinade should I use?
Any pointers or tips anyone can give me for this recipe?
Will it be good with pasta and creamed spinach on the side?

I am looking for a recipe someone has already tried at home and became a big hit. I'm not expecting recipes from allrecipes.com, foodnetwork.com, recipezaar.com. Thanks but no thanks. I am simply looking for something, you've made at home and has personal experience with. I am making porkchops tonight, I have only three of them. I am running out of ideas for them. I've done the beer thing and the whole breadcrumb thing too. I'd like to make it with pasta and some creamy spinach. Any ideas? PLEASE!

I remember coming across a recipe book in Borders produced by Ben & Jerry's and thought it would be nice to make your own ice cream that is like Ben & Jerry's! Thing is, I'm a bit skeptical. Is it really possible to produce very good quality, creamy, tasty ice cream by yourself using an ice cream maker? Or is it always never going to match up to the professional stuff? I had a breadmaking machine for over 2 years now, and have tried different recipes with it, but the bread it churns out is never as good as the real thing (I like Burgens bread and Warburton's)

And if you're really happy making your own ice cream with an ice cream machine, would you recommend a particular model of machine, or would any ice cream machine sold in big stores like Argos or Amazon do the same trick?
