Popcorn! See if you can buy popcorn boxes like they have in movie theaters.

Another idea....have a red carpet for guests to walk down as they enter (use a roll of plastic red tablecloth probably available at Dollar store).

Also...buy some small oscar statues and give out a few awards during the evening.

You could have everyone's name on a star on the floor like in in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Have fun!

try a stuffed artichoke. mix a small box of bread crumbs with 1/2 cup of parmesan and 1/2 cup of romano cheese. cut the top off the artichoke and spread the leaves for filling. take a tablespoon of mixture and start adding into the artichoke from the inside working your way out. next take 1/2 cup of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix with 1 cup of water. dizzle mixture onto artichoke until leave and stuffing are saturated. put artichoke on a deep dish and add 2/3 cup of water. put on microwave for 25 minutes. every 10 minutes go and baste the leaves and stuffing with mixture to keep moist. you know then the artickoke is ready by pulling on an outside leaf. if the leaf comes off, it is done. don't forget to eat the heart. it is the best part of the artichoke.
