this is a safe one that you can make in the microwave at home...

2 graham cracker squares
1/2 plain chocolate bar
1 large marshmallow

On paper towel place 1 cracker square.
Top with chocolate and marshmallow.
Micro on high 15 seconds or until marshmallow puffs.
Remove from oven and cover with other cracker.
Eat like a sandwich.
ENJOY!

Your Basic Smores:

7 min 2 min prep
1 servings

1 large marshmallow
2 graham crackers
3 chocolate squares

1. Toast one marshmallow until a light golden color.
2. Top with 2 squares of chocolate.
3. Sandwich between one graham cracker, broken in half.
4. (That would be 4 separate grahams, 2 on either side of the smore).
5. To toast while camping, push the marshmallow on a long stick and turn constantly over an open fire.
6. To toast at home, pop in a preheated oven on a cookie sheet and watch closely!
7. (Usually about 2 minutes).

Did you know that Smores got their name from the phrase; "Give me Some more!"

These I think you can make by yourself

Frozen Smores
8 graham cracker squares (2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons marshmallow topping
1 cup chocolate ice cream

Spread all crackers with peanut butter, then marshmallow topping. Top 4 with 1/4 cup ice cream each. Cover with remaining crackers, spread side down. Gently squeeze sandwiches until ice cream spreads to edge of cookies.

Serve immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze up to 3 days.

Smores are the foods of the Gods.....and kids of every age! Probably you should have an adult supervise you while you make them, since it does involve using a fire or the stove. What we call graham crackers might have a different name in England. Look for flat, sweetened "biscuits" that contain graham flour. Get a square of Hershey's, or Cadburys', milk chocolate, toast a marshmallow, and make a "sandwich" out of them between two "biscuits". Yum!

EASY SMORES ICE CREAM

1 pint of heavy whipping cream
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 cup of marshmallows
1/2 cup of sugar
about 12 Honey Maid graham crackers

Mix the cream, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and sugar together well.
Put mixture into an ice cream maker adding the graham crackers at the end, so they stay a little crunchy.

This makes a rich and creamy ice cream!

Enjoy!

You can make them in the microwaave and yes, they have graham crackers in England. Just take a g-cracker, put a bit of chocolate on it (broken off from a regular chocolate bar) and top it off with a big fat marshmellow. Stick it in the microwave until the marshmellow and chocolate melts, and voila!
