How do you make them? I usually do frozen ones, but I really fancy them today and dont have any, so I want to make my own.
Hints and tips for proper roasties please! crunchy on the outside, fluffy in!

I just opened a sealed package of Quaker Oats that I've had for awhile. It cooked up fine, but when I tasted it, it tasted sour. I know that they warn that pancake mix can go bad with some type of mold spores. Does anyone know if something similar applies to oatmeal?

I cooked two salmon filets (total wt 12 oz) for 1 hour at 350 deg and it was obviously way too long. They were very dry. What is the recommended time and temp?

Helpful suggestions regarding a thick creamy sauce would be appreciated. I have already frozen a white wine and lemon (hollandaise type) sauce with tarragon and parsley.
