I just want a milk pan size not a massive one because they are so heavy.

I am afraid that, according to ME, the information you have been given is not entirely correct.
If you feel you are not receiving enough iron, you could try spinach or liver, though I would personally advise a visit to your "friendly G.P." !!

I'm not sure where you are darl but in Australia You can get these pans at most good department stores or somewhere like Peters Of Kensington or a specialist store in a mall like Chef King or similar. Good luck and happy cooking.

search the web for lodge cast iron they have an amazing amount of affordable cast iron skillets, pans, roasters.

we got our in a carboot. yes they are heavy... esp when youve just cooked a half gallon of chilli...

You can also use a steel (not stainless steel) wok. Just season it properly so it doesn't rust.
