Make an ice cream ball, roll it around in a breading mix (corn flakes work well), then freeze it as hard as your freezer can make it.

Then get a deep sauce pot, fill it with oil, and put it on the stove. When the oil is very hot, dump your breaded ice cream ball in for a few seconds, then remove it. Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar, drizzle with hot fudge, and serve it in an ice cream dish.

Try this recipe...it comes out perfect!! even better than in restaraunts!

4 scoops well frozen ice cream
2 eggs, beaten
50 g crushed corn flakes
oil, burning hot (for frying)

Give the ice-cream scoops a perfect round.
Put the 4 scoops in the deep freezer for 15 minutes.
Give it an egg wash once you remove it from the deep freezer.
Roll on the crushed corn flakes and give it a nice coating.
Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Repeat the process twice.
Heat the oil.
Make sure it is burning hot.
Deep fry the ice-cream quickly for 5-8 seconds.
Make sure that the oil is very hot or the corn flakes won't get its colour.

Make sure ice cream is frozen very hard. Also do not fry more than 10 to 15 seconds. Try this recipe:

1 quart vanilla ice cream
3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 egg whites
oil for frying

Scoop ice cream into 8 - 1/2 cup sized balls. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm, about 1 to 2 hours.

In a shallow dish, combine cornflakes and cinnamon. In another dish, beat egg whites until foamy. Roll ice cream balls in egg whites, then in cornflakes, covering ice cream completely. Repeat if necessary. Freeze again until firm, 3 hours or overnight.

In deep fryer or large, heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Using a basket or slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls 1 or 2 at a time, for 10 to 15 seconds, until golden. Drain quickly on paper towels and serve immediately.

With an ice cream scoop, style 4 large balls of ice cream. place on a waxed paper lined sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for a minimum of two hours. In a bowl, combine the cornflake crumbs with the two the coconut, walnuts or cookie crumbs (or any mixture). unfold the mixture in a shallow dish. Dip the ice cream balls interior the crumb combination and freeze for half-hour. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar. Dip the lined ice cream balls into the eggs, then roll interior the crumb combination, coating thoroughly. Freeze for a million hour. (If needed, or for a thicker crust, roll returned in eggs and crumbs till the balls are thoroughly lined.) warmth the oil in a large pot or fryer to 4 hundred tiers F. one after the different, decrease the balls into the oil and fry till golden brown, approximately 30 seconds to a million minute. get rid of from the oil and place in a dessert bowl. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and whipped cream, as wanted. Repeat with the relax ice cream.

Scoop the ice cream onto cookie sheets and then put back in the freezer. I leave mine in overnight! Then take it out and roll in the cornflakes (or whatever else you're using) then stick back in the freezer again. Then fry from there.

You should be fine...make sure your oil is hot enough to crisp the coating quickly and make sure after you shape your ice cream balls you 'refreeze' them again. It should be fine.
