My mother used to make me a smoothie every morning, I think she used bananas, yogurt and ice. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Or am I forgetting something? I'm trying to make them every morning relatively cheaply and healthy. Thanks.

I am making a fondue that calls for 1/2lb of swiss and 1/2lb of gruyere. Well gruyere is $16.00 a lb-- money I don't have. Can you make any suggestions on what to do? Should I use all swiss? Or should I add in something else? Perhaps a parmesan or something like that?

What do you all think would be a good dinner I could make my guy for Valentine's Day? I am a pretty good cook and have quite a few recipes, but I want to do something different. Nothing yet has caught my eye. Anyone have any insight? And, if you could provide some recipes, that would be wonderful.
