here are some good recipes. one I found on allrecipes.com called cajun chicken pasta. It's great! just use a little less heavy whip, a little less of the peppers, and a dash more of the cajun seasoning and it will be a dinner you will want to cook again and again. Not a pasta person? how about fish. Grilled Mahi Mahi. 1/2 lb mahi mahi, ts olive oil and lemon juice. 1/8ts salt. pepper to taste. 1 clove garlic minced. sprinkle both sides of fish with mixture of olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then rub the garlic on the fish. Spray grill rack with olive oil. Grill over hot coals for 4-6 minutes per square inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily with a fork. no need to turn unless more than 1 inch thick. thats my own fish recipe. if you dont like any of those. allrecipes.com has many other options. good luck on ur quest for dinner!

Tonight is Chicken Chili and tomorrow is Pumpkin Pasta...here are the recipes...I hope you try 'em...they're both very very good.

2 (10 oz.) cans chicken breast, NOT drained

1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup chicken broth
Sour cream

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray

In the cooker add beans, chilies, chicken, onion, chili powder, and broth. Mix well.

Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours -OR- low for 6-9 hours

Stir 1 Tbsp. sour cream into each 1 cup serving

Yield : 9 Servings 1 cup each

---

Let me start by saying this doesn't really taste like pumpkin...it's just really good and creamy. It's not spicy either. It's very very good. I hope you try it!

Pasta with Creamy Pumpkin Sauce

1 pkg. (16 oz.) penne pasta, uncooked
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Ground nutmeg to taste

COOK pasta as directed on package.
MEANWHILE, place cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter and milk in large saucepan; cook on low heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Add pumpkin and spices; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
ADD pasta; toss lightly. Serve topped with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

My own variation on Chinese fried rice:

Sautee some chopped onion and one clove of garlic
Sautee some shrimp (remove tails)
Add cooked rice (no, you DON'T have to make it the day before)
Add soy sauce and a small amount of teriyaki sauce
Add peas, carrots, and fresh sliced mushrooms
If desired, add some ginger and/or chili paste or red pepper flakes for some heat

well this is what i´m doing tonight. philly cheesesteak mystyle. buy a piece of steak with a little fat, put salt and pepper on each side and fork the heck out of it. cut the fat off. with a few pieces of the beef fat, put that in a large flat frying pan with vegetable oil over medium low heat. simmer until the fat looks like steak and throw that away. now chop up some onion and mushrooms (cleaned) and fry in the beefy oil. add salt and pepper to taste and remove onions and mushrooms when light brown. now put your steak in and put the heat on high. scorch each side of the steak and turn down heat and remove steak. cut steak diagonally into little bite sized slices and let cool a bit. meanwhile throw the mushrooms and onions back into the pan, add some hot sauce to taste, a tiny drop or two (like a quarter teaspoon) of vinegar and a shot of whisky. turn up the heat and scrape pan and mix onion mushroom mix until alcohol cooks off. it should look red and smell strong. turn down a bit and now throw the steak pieces back in. make a nice hoagie roll shaped pile of mushroom, onion and steak and put some slices of provolone cheese on top to melt. open the bread roll length-wise and put open face on top of cheese and let it melt a minute. put spatula under, flip over, and voila, nassim420 (registered TM) philly cheesesteak

You don't say if you want fancy or simple. If we're in a hurry and we want something tasty, we get that pre-mixed curry in the green boxes, and make hamburger or chicken curry, and add veggies or shrimp.

It's delicious, and takes about 5 minutes.
