It wasn't done. Put it back in the oven. I was putting the soda pop and sugar mixture on it, after I cut it to see if it was done. It's been in the oven 10 hrs. Now, when I cut into it, the meat toward the bone is dark brown, doesn't look good. Don't know if that's from the pop/sugar mixture or not. I tasted a piece from the outside, and it was bland, not salty or sweet. Could this meat be bad? Expiration date was Jan 12, 2007. I have it just sitting there, don't know what to do with it. Thanks for any help given.

I have some medium sized scallops and was going to sprinkle some Mrs. Dash on it and cook it in the oven. What is a good temperature and time I should cook them? Possibly broil even?

I'm using leftovers. Beef roast, the drippings from the beef roast (flavored with fresh ground black pepper and onion and beef), some stir fry veggies (mushrooms, sugar pea pods, water chestnuts, red peppers), broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (no celery left), and alphabet pasta.

So is this a stew or a soup? It's delicious, by the way. I'm on my second bowl. And I have leftover dinner rolls to go with it. And raspberry jam.

Hi guys. I've been buying instant oatmeal packets from the store for many years now, and it occurred to me that it shouldn't be too hard to make these packs at home.

Do you any of you currently make your own instant oatmeal? Recipes would be appreciated, especially for brown sugar and maple flavor. Any other helpful tips would also be great.

Thanks in advance.

My grandmother used to prepare fried mush. She said her mother made large amounts of mush when she was a girl because all the family liked fried mush. We were talking about food we had eaten long ago, and no one knows how to make it.

I.E. Newcastle and braut spagetti. Boil brauts in Newcastle then grill them. Use some of the Newcastle to make your spagetti sauce.
