You can if you really want to cook them on the stove. 2 baking pans, one over where the flames will be, turn the other pan upside down and place it on the first pan, place cookie dough on the bottom of the second pan turn the burners on low and cover the top pan and dough with foil, check the cookies periodically to see when they're done. That my friends is a stove top oven, use only when you don't think if you can make it one more nite without a cookie

I cook most with the stove, but I make good use of the microwave as well in heating up microwaveable treats from the grocery store, heating water, and melting or softening butter, chocolate, etc...

I have made cookies in an electric skillet. Just set the temperature and put the lid on. OR--make no bake cookies:

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups quick cooking oats

Combine sugar, cocoa, and milk. Bring slowly to a fully rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add margarine, peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. Beat by hand until thick enough to drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.

Normally one doesn't "cook" cookies, one "bakes" cookies.

And actually Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines makes microwaveable "baking bowls" where you can mix up an individual size cake or a giant chocolate chip cookies. They are really good, I sent oodles of them to my daughter when she was in Iraq. You'll find them by the boxed cake mixes.

Go to Martha Stewarts Website, and look up no bake cookies. She has a few you can try.
Also Betty Crocker Website is good too. I am not sure of the exact website of both. Maybe just Google no bake cookies.
