DF and I are trying to decide where to get married...I have no idea! All I can think of is Hawaii.

Websites to resorts or places to get married would be helpful.

Someplace thats fairly quiet with gorgeous weather.

ok my step son is getting married sept 14th..its a very elegant wedding..his aunt and her boyfriend are coming which is great..wilie who is a big black man (and that is fine) was first going to wear a canary yellow suit...after being tease by other family memebers he decided not to wear it..now he is wearing an all white suit with a tourquise tie and shoes..my daughter in law is very upset..i always thought the only one to wear white should be the bride...
what is everyone take on this??

My fiance and I have had sex before, we were eachothers first and neither of us have been with other people. Our wedding isnt for another 2 years mind you but I wanted to stop having sex for those two years to make our wedding night a little more sacred. Do you thin thats stupid???

my boyfriend's brother is getting married out of state in acouple of months . i told him i wanted to go. he said no.i have known him and his family for almost 20 . him and i have dated exclusively on and off for 20 years also. he has never not wanted me to go to a family function.. what to do ?? his reason for not wanting me to go was that there maybe lodging problems: he doesnt know where he is staying ,, at a hotel or family house.

My sister has been planning to get married where she lives in Brazil in April for over a year. Every one in my family has known this for a long time. My sister was adopted later in life but has gone above and beyond for my family and she is truly one of us. She has respected the sanctity of marriage and understands the commitment she is about to make. The problem is my cousin decided a week ago that she is also getting married in April within two days of my sisters wedding that is taking place in Brazil. Most of my family was planning to go to Brazil to my sister’s wedding and in our family we have a veil that has been used by the women in my family for 4 generations. My sister has been told that she can use the veil in her wedding. A few members of my family have brought up the fact that she is not blood related. However my sister has done more for our family than my cousin ever has. My cousin has been childish; she has known her fiancé for one month and is already living with him.

Don't get me wrong- I am looking forward to my wedding and I am having my dream wedding but sometimes it feel like a nightmare.... dealing with my mother-inlaw, my own mother and my fiance's sisters..... plus all the nameless relatives who I have never even met! But sometimes I just think- WOW, maybe I should have taken my money and eloped or bought a vacation home with it instead of this.......

I'm getting married September 29. I'm six months pregnant so we've (my b/f and I) decided to keep the wedding small and simple. We just confirmed the date with the chapel today, so we haven't told anyone, yet. We have decided (because we want it small) that the only people that are going to be there are my parents (mom and step-dad), his parents, my best friends and his 14 year old daughter. I know my biological father and step-mom are going to be upset, and I'm pretty sure my sisters will be, too. I've only known them all for three years, (my step-dad raised me) but I have gotten pretty close to two out of my four sisters. How do I tell them I'm getting married, but they're not invited?

If one of the people in your wedding party continues to say this is costing too much money for me and is basically a burden. The catch one of the bridesmaids is the girlfriend of the best man? Can you tell her that she doesn't have to be a part of it if she doesn't want to? The problem is that the best man might back out as well? Help!

i bought the shoes a while ago assuming i'd be buying a white dress. after trying on dresses i like an ivory better w/ my skin tone. i didn't even notice it was ivory until told. shoes are $75, non returnable. they're ballerina flats. the dress is A line and big so i'm not sure if one can even see the shoes.

i was just wondering what you put in the program for your wredding. i know you put times for things but do you put the names of your wedding pary and what they are?please help. i just realized i only have 8 months left and really have nothing done? we want to rent a hall how would i go about that. and when is the best time to but my wedding dress.? i think i am going crazy LOL

i am getting married in may and i have all my bridesmaids picked out but on of them is only going to be 13 years old. so would this be a JR. bridesmaid or just a normal bridesmaid? and if she is a JR would she still wear the same style of dress ( all the girls are wearing the same dress but my moh) or should she wera a different one as well.....i am confussed LOL

i am thinking of not inviting any of my extended family to my wedding. this will be my second wedding. my first wedding i was going to have my uncle walk me down the isle (my father has passed on) and then his two sons ushers. then i had a chance to get married on a certain date and just went ahead and did it. then when we said that we were having a big wedding the next year my uncle said he didn't want to walk me down the isle cause it wouldn't have been the same. well, that marriage has ended. i am asking this question because none of my cousins invited other family members to second weddings and two of them not to a first wedding! and then there is the family that was going to be in the first wedding but not this wedding, do i invite them and not the others? what would you do?

I'm going to a wedding of some new neighbours. We didn't know eachother when they were doing the planning of the wedding, but are close now. It's too late to add us to the dinner, but they want us to join them after the dinner for the dance part of the reception. We want to give them cash as a gift. What is the appropriate amount of money to give per person? They are having an open bar if that makes a difference. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I am planning a wedding and I cant decide when to have it. I originally wanted it in May but I was thinking twice about that and I think the fall would be prettier but the only problem is my fiance and I want to go on a cruise for our honeymoon..either to Eastern or Southern Carribean because we went to western before.
