My niece was the same age for our wedding - she was tall, and paired with a nephew a few years older, so I didn't bother with the jr. designation, she was a bridesmaid as the others, and wore the same dress.

15 is plenty old enough to be a bridesmaid. I'd worry more about the style of the dress though. If you have a cleavage showing dress and are worried that she might not have enough to hold it up, perhaps the junior dress is the way to go. However if you are picking a modest dress or one with straps, have her a bridesmaid. At 15, you are pretty much an adult. As for the 11-12 yo, I'd discuss that with her mother. I know when I was that age, being called a flowergirl would have been the WORST thing imaginable! But my flowergirl was 10 at my wedding. She is very immature--still loves winnie the pooh and looks like she is more like 6 yo. I wasn't sure what she would rather be so I asked her mother. She decided she'd rather be a flower girl, but she made her own dress out of the fabric. My flowergirl wanted something more like a ballet tutu and her mother wanted something more like a junior bridesmaid. As she was my only flower girl, and it was going to be made out of the same material as the others--I didn't care what pattern they picked. They compromised but she was listed as the flowergirl. Ask the mother on this one though b/c technically 11-12 is a bit too old. As for your Maid of Honor--are those cousins the people you are closest to? No sisters or best friends that you'd rather have? I wouldn't pick a young cousin if you are having a sister or best friend but it's your wedding. Especially b/c the MOH has several duties that might be difficult for her to organize at such a young age. However, as everyone always says--it's your wedding. You can do whatever you wish.

She is the age of a typical junior bridesmaid.

If she was 16 or 17, you might be able to get away with dressing her in the same dress as the other maids, but since she's only 13, I would put her in a different dress--one that is more appropriate for her age than the dresses the rest of the bridal party will wear. Try to find one in the same color as your MOH's dress or bridesmaids dresses. Lots of designers make dresses for JR maids that are really cute, age appropriate and complement the other maids beautifully. Good luck!

I'd say just a regular bridesmaid unless you'll have a jr groomsman. It's basically the same thing if she's wearing the same dress as the other girls. so why call her something else. But if there will be a Jr. groomsman then ya, she should be a Jr. bridesmaid.

If the bridesmaid dress you picked out comes in a Junior Bridesmaid then for sure she can wear the same one. If not, then you can pick something similiar. At that age they want to be as much like the rest as possible and not viewed as someone a lot younger!

Jr Bridesmaid, and wear the same dress as the others.

I have 4 bridesmaids (including maid of honor) and 2 junior bridesmaids (my nieces). They are 12 and 10. Of course their dresses will not be the same as the maids, since they are children!
I picked out some cute lil dresses for them.
I love the idea of jr. bridesmaids! :)

I would call her a jr bridesmaid, but keep her in the same dress as the other gals so long as it comes in a size for her. I had 3 jr bridesmaids, so it will be fine! :)

She would be a junior bridesmaid (under 16) and would wear the same color but a different dress, unless the dress is very conservative and appropriate for a 13 year old. Obviously a strapless would not be but one with thick straps might be.

Any of the above are perfectly fine options. I'd say Jr, Bridesmaid because she wouldn't have as much responsibility as the adult bridesmaids.

She can wear the same or similar style dress.
